Optimum Racing Secures Overall 6th place at Formula Bharat Pi-EV
We are elated to announce that the Optimum Racing Formula Student team from the University of Peradeniya has achieved a significant milestone by participating in the prestigious Formula Bharat Pi-EV competition, held virtually in India. As the first-ever Formula Student team from our university and a beginner team formed this year, our accomplishments in this competition are nothing short of extraordinary.
About Formula Bharat Pi-EV
Formula Bharat Pi-EV is a renowned engineering design competition that challenges university students to develop and race a formula-style electric vehicle. The competition provides a platform for aspiring engineers to showcase their innovation, technical skills, and teamwork. It encompasses various dynamic and static events, including design evaluation, cost analysis, and performance testing, which collectively assess the teams' capabilities and creativity.

Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA):
Our team excelled in the FMEA category, securing 3rd place. This achievement highlights our commitment to identifying potential failure modes and implementing preventive measures to enhance the reliability and safety of our vehicle.
