We at Optimum Racing, the Formula Student team of the University of Peradeniya, are thrilled to announce our participation in Formula Bharat Pi-EV 2024! Formula Bharat Pi-EV 2024 is the 8th edition of the Formula Student Electric Vehicle (FSEV) Concept Challenge, organized by Formula Bharat. This competition provides an opportunity for student teams from around the world to design, build, and showcase their electric vehicle (EV) concepts. The event emphasizes innovation, engineering prowess, and effective team management.

Participants in Pi-EV 2024 will be assessed on multiple aspects, including engineering design, procurement strategy, team management, and technical presentations. The competition is structured to simulate real-world engineering challenges and business environments, requiring teams to demonstrate not only their technical skills but also their ability to manage resources and work collaboratively under tight deadlines​. The event will feature several stages, such as virtual presentations and Q&A sessions with judges. Teams are expected to submit detailed reports and designs prior to the event, and these submissions will be scrutinized for innovation, feasibility, and adherence to competition guidelines​.
